The charge against her was of cursing a group of sailors who later died at sea. She paid a fine and died some years later of natural causes. But that wasn't the end of things.

Unfortunately, stories like this can be told all over the region. Perhaps Cole is lucky to have passed from natural causes rather than something much worse. Regardless, people seem to believe she harbors resentment and we somehow just can't blame her.
