The Colonial Theatre Might Just Be The Most Haunted Theater In New Hampshire

I am an avid traveler-- of both the United States and the world. My favorite spots are U.S. national parks, big cities, and anywhere I can practice my French. I have traveled to all but a handful of states and enjoy photographing the beauty I see along the way.
From cemeteries to taverns, to historic inns, New Hampshire seems to be filled with ghoulish reminders of tragedies past. Its Colonial Theatre in Laconia is no exception. All types of creepy matters manifest here. Townspeople have spotted an apparition of a man walking through the building. Others have heard footsteps on stairs that no one is climbing. While the theater was built in 1914, it was renovated this year. It attracts large audiences coming to see live music. If you are looking for a unique place to take in a musical show, definitely do it here!
Concert-goers and ghost hunters alike can find the Colonial Theatre at 617 Main Street in Laconia. Check out the venue’s website ahead of time to see what popular entertainers are performing each weekend along with hours and directions.
