As Christmas draws closer, the cheer becomes palpable. From the lights that are beginning to go up around the state to the events that are reminding us what the holiday season is all about, we’re well on our way to hearts filled with cheer! One of the best ways to get the most out of the holiday season it to participate in the community events that are beginning to take place. This one, in Nashua, is one of the oldest and it’s also one of the brightest!
...but it's become the largest holiday event of its type in Southern New Hampshire, worth every minute you spend enjoying it! Last year's event drew over 35,000 people. But the vibe is just what you might have seen here decades ago.
This year's 25th annual event takes place on Saturday November 24th beginning at 5 p.m. with a candlelit parade up Main Street from City Hall to Railroad Square.
Whether you're looking to spend money or just hoping to enjoy the spirit of the evening, you're sure to feel joy in your heart with the many decorations throughout town.
The weather might be cold, though there have been years will things are mild, this is one of the best nights of the year to enjoy the downtown area. And, despite the huge turnout, it truly feels like a community event.
