2. The Down East Special at Colby's Breakfast and Lunch, Portsmouth
The Down East Special is a classic diner plate like you'll see in many places - choice of meat, eggs, sweet treat, and home fries - but this one stands out. The cinnamon French toast is incredible, as are their pancakes - you really can't go wrong.
3. Pancake Sampler Combo at Polly's Pancake Parlor, Sugar Hill
Polly's is pancake heaven - and the best way to experience all they have to offer is to get the sampler! Enjoy 6 pancakes (2 each of 3 styles) and choose your batter and mix-ins. 5. Eggs Benedict at Kitchen Cravings, Gilford

6. The Maroney at The Big Bean Cafe, Newmarket
The Big Bean has plenty of creative breakfast offerings, but we especially love the Maroney - a breakfast quesadilla -for a change of pace. With chorizo, scrambled eggs, cheddar, and more, it hits all the right notes. Try it at 118 Main St

7. The Compost Heap at Riverhouse Cafe, Milford
You may think a compost heap for breakfast sounds unappealing - but you'll be surprised when you bite into this ridiculously tasty creation. With roasted veggies and cheese sandwiched between hash browns, and topped with avocado and salsa verde, it's salty, spicy, comforting, and everything you want in a breakfast dish. 8. Cruller French Toast at Lou's Restaurant and Bakery, Hanover
Imagine a gloriously fresh house-made cruller dipped in batter and fried up to a crispy finish and you have the delightful dish that is cruller French toast. Don't think it'll be filling enough for you? Get the Little Green or Big Green combo plate with cruller french toast instead of pancakes. You won't regret it. 9. Los Huevos Rancheros at the Sunrise Shack, Glen
This cheery mountain spot serves some delicious breakfasts made with fresh, local ingredients. The Los Huevos Rancheros dish includes black beans, avocado, eggs, salsa, and cheese - and you can get it in a burrito if you prefer. Eat up at 644 White Mountain Hwy, Glen, NH 03838.
