There’s Nothing Better Than This New Hampshire Beer And Wings Festival
Beer and wings – the most American of pairings. The saucy heat of a perfect wing, washed down with a cool, refreshing sip of a cold brew….it can’t be beat. We love this combination all year round (after all, what else are you supposed to have while you watch football?) but it’s somehow enhanced by being outside on a perfect summer day. Now imagine an entire festival dedicated to beer and a huge variety of wings, all enjoyed in Nashua’s historic Holman Stadium.
The Gate City Brewfest and Wing Competition is an annual Nashua event at Holman Stadium. This year's festival will be held Saturday, August 19, from 1–5 p.m.
The event brings in craft brewers from the state and region, with dozens of beer and cider-makers represented. Whatever your taste in beer (and even if you don't think you like it!) there's sure to be something you'll love.
Once you've whetted your appetite with a few brews, dig into some wings! The event includes a wing competition between many local restaurants and chains.
The Budweiser Clydesdales will even pay a visit! Even your underage family members will have plenty to do, with an "art battle," face painting, a bounce house, and more.
Of course, the corn hole tournament is a big highlight. This game is a faceoff between teams who won preliminary rounds at bars and restaurants throughout southern NH. The competition definitely gets heated!
Can’t sign up fast enough? Visit the Gate City Brewfest and Wing Competition website for tickets and details. Tickets are $25 in advance/$30 day of for adults 21+, $10 for designated drivers and those under 21, and free for kids 12 and under.
