Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms. Dining options in New Hampshire are plentiful, which is why we always have such a hard time narrowing down the spots we cover here. But, sometimes there are places that are so astounding in their beauty that including them is easy – and a no brainer! This lovely inn is especially beautiful during the holidays. And if it snows? It’s absolute perfection!
The Bedford Village Inn Restaurant is one of the best reasons to stay at this beautiful resort, which was once the location of a working farm, built in 1810.
The lights twinkling this time of year are enchanting, adding a little extra magic to the setting. And, while it feels rural, it's located just outside of Manchester.
