Nestled among lush trees sits Gilmanton Winery & Vineyard, in Gilmanton, an ideal destination if you enjoy wine tastings, good food, and alpacas.

Plan a visit to the winery for a wine tasting, held Sundays after 1:30 p.m. The winery offers a three-flight and a six-flight wine tasting that allows guests to relax at any table they'd like.

Pair your wine tasting with a delicious plate of crackers and cheese or with an Artisinal plate.

After you've finished your wine tasting or brunch, set off on a leisurely stroll. Along the way, you'll meet some of the residents of the winery, including alpacas, goats, and rabbits.

You can also meander through the vineyard to soak up the golden sunshine and to see where the grapes grow.

Gilmanton Winery hosts dinners throughout the year, too. Upcoming dinners for 2019 include October 18, November 8, December 13, and New Year's Eve.

Sip wine and watch the alpacas at Gilmanton Winery, open Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
