Here in New Hampshire we get a lot of flack for some of the things we do. Weather it’s cold weather behavior that warmer states just don’t identify with or certain things we’ve picked up from our family, being from New Hampshire is pretty unmistakable. Here are just a few things we should all just probably learn to accept about ourselves.
Some of us might not like the idea that others see us as too tough. And we definitely like to complain about the snow. But the truth is that we can make our way through just about any kind of weather. If something needs to be done, we'll hop in the car and get it done. No matter the ice, snow or wind.
We don't want to be seen a middle-of-nowhere dwellers, but it's not that hard to find yourself on a rural road in New Hampshire no matter where you live. There's a good chance you've tried to avoid referencing that old barn that burned down in 1998, but at the same time...it's the only defining feature of the road!

Except, yeah we kinda do. When it comes to special occasions or celebrations we make plans to hit a place like Portsmouth. Fine, we'll admit it!

People might make jokes about our fashion choices. And we might try to say they're wrong. But go into your closet right now and see what you find. Guarantee there's at least one thing flannel in there. Bonus points if you're currently sleeping on flannel sheets these days.
