Sushi in Nevada? Why not? Being landlocked and having fresh seafood are not mutually exclusive and Kaizen Fusion Roll & Sushi proves that. From more traditional Japanese items like edamame and miso soup to basic rolls, sashimi, and tempura, this unassuming restaurant has a huge variety of specialty rolls featuring exotic and unusual items. Diners can choose from a la carte items or have the chef create an Omakase—”Chef, I’ll leave it to you”—personalized sushi menu. Take a look at this amazing unassuming restaurant and see if your mouth doesn’t water.
Kaizen Fusion Roll & Sushi is located at 4480 Paradise Road, Suite 900, in Las Vegas. This unassuming storefront sits in a small strip mall across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Kaizen's sushi rolls are truly unique and beautiful like the Avocado Train (front) with tempura soft-shelled crab, crab, and lobster topped with avocado and eel sauce, and the Orange Blossom (back) that features chopped deep-fried shrimp and crab topped with salmon and a tangy orange sauce.
Another unique roll is the Banana Roll that features a crab, avocado, and cucumber filling. The roll is then topped with fried banana and a fruit sauce.
The Spicy Tataki Roll is another crowd favorite. This spicy tuna roll is topped with seared tuna, pickled onion, green onion, and avocado with a ponzu and eel sauce.
Then, of course, there's the signature Kaizen Roll that features tempura soft-shelled crab and lobster, avocado, asparagus, yamagobo, and radish sprouts topped with tuna, salmon, and yellowtail and covered in an amazing eel sauce. Yum!
Kaizen has two other Las Vegas locations: 10271 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 109 in Henderson and 2760 Deer Springs Way, Suite 101 in North Las Vegas (pictured), the latter being a bit more, shall we say, assuming.
If you have a hankering for sushi—and are in the Las Vegas area—Kaizen Fusion Roll & Sushi is the place to go for the absolute best in the state. Don’t be fooled by its unassuming exterior. This is one meal you won’t soon forget!
