The Tiny Shop In Nevada That Serves Homemade Ice Cream To Die For
Small town Fernley is home to one of the most delicious homemade ice cream shops in all of Nevada—Steve’s Homemade Ice Cream. Owner-operator Steve Cordes got his start working in a famous small Staten Island, New York soda shop that dates back to 1933. This is where he learned to make ice cream. Following employment as a police officer, Cordes returned and managed the soda shop for 12 years before moving to Nevada to open his own place that has become quite a hit in northern Nevada.
