Not Many People Know About This Secret Park Hiding In Nevada

This park may be small compared to other city parks, but it has a special feature that makes it a real hidden gem! Located in Boulder City, the park is a real treat for anyone who loves beautiful views and local wildlife.

Hemenway Valley Park — Hemenway Valley Park is a 10 acre park located at 401 Ville Drive in Boulder City.

Hemenway Valley Park — The park has many amenities such as a very nice playground, horseshoe pits and tennis, softball and basketball courts.

Hemenway Valley Park — There are several gazebos for sitting down and having a picnic or BBQ with friends and family.

Hemenway Valley Park — The truly special and unique feature to this park is the particular type of local wildlife who come to visit. Aside from bunnies and quail, a large and majestic animal enjoys the park.

Hemenway Valley Park — A herd of 50 or more Wild Bighorn sheep are known to regularly hang out in the park. They tend to congregate in the morning and early afternoon.

Hemenway Valley Park — The park has an incredible panoramic view of Lake Mead and the Bighorn sheep grazing in the park make the scene picture perfect.
