If you’re the type of person who likes to take remote vacations far away from civilization, then Nevada is the place for you. The Silver State is stocked with all sorts of secluded getaway destinations. Our state’s landscape is perfect for it. The remote desert lodge featured below is the perfect example of this. It’s completely surrounded by nothingness, but its pristine lake setting makes it feels like heaven on earth. You won’t be able to pass up planning a getaway to this awesome little resort.
Pyramid Lake is one of Nevada's most treasured gems. This place is downright magical, and it's easier than ever to plan an adventure to the lake thanks to this lodge located in one of our state's most secluded deserts.
Crosby Lodge has been a family owned and operated business on Pyramid Lake since 1957. It's been the go-to place for overnight stays in this secluded area of northwestern Nevada for more than half a century.
Located in the tiny town of Sutcliffe, this region is the perfect place to immerse yourself in peace and quiet. It's roughly 40 miles north of Reno, but it couldn't feel farther from civilization.
The lodge is conveniently located within walking distance of the lake. Spanning 125,000 acres, it's considered the largest natural lake in Nevada...and you'll definitely want to explore every inch of it.
If you fish, then this is the place to be. The lake is home to an ancient species called the Lahontan Cutthroat Trout which have called the beautiful lake home for thousands of years. They grow to record sizes and have attracted fishermen to the area for decades.
The lodge itself is quaint, but it's the perfect place to rest your head after a long day out on the lake. You can have your pick of several cozy cabins and trailers.
Each accommodation is equipped with all of the amenities you could possibly need. The interiors are inviting and warm, making you feel right at home.
The lodge also offers RV camping for the rate of just $35 per night. RVs will have access to full hookups and electricity, along with fantastic views of the lake in the distance. Nothing beats this!
Crosby's really has anything you could desire during your stay. They are also home to a store, grill, gift shop, and even a few slot machines for your entertainment. After just one night at this magnificent lodge, you'll probably find yourself extending your stay!
