Visitors of V&T Railway can now enjoy a pedal-powered tour along the historic Virginia & Truckee train route. The 90-minute tour is available for all ages and is available Tuesday through Sunday.
The motor-assisted railbikes make for an easygoing and comfortable trip out of the canyon, but do keep in mind that passengers must be able to pedal for an extended amount of time. Water and snacks are provided for you to refuel along the way.
Tour guides accompany each rail bike group and are there to tell you about the historic sites you'll see throughout the journey. Railbike passengers will visit incredible spots like the historic Eureka Mill location and the Halfway House Stagecoach Stop.
