If you’re in the Las Vegas area and looking for a meal, you aren’t likely to find a more unusual dining spot than this dining establishment!
Mastro's is a steak and seafood restaurant with locations in several cities around the U.S.
The Las Vegas location is definitely not your typical restaurant building!
A section of the dining room of the Nevada restaurant is housed inside of an 80-foot tall "tree house" inside of the Crystals at City Center, an upscale shopping center on the Las Vegas Strip.
The shape of the tree house is definitely unusual, with rounded walls and low, sloping ceilings that have an organic feel to them.
Diners have a view of the mall area and shoppers but the dome structure keeps passersby shopping in the mall from staring into the unusual building.
There is a "regular" dining area as well so make sure you ask when making a reservation to be seated in the tree house!
Mastro's Ocean Club is particularly sought after for their succulent seafood dishes, including Lobster Mashed Potatoes, Alaskan King Crab Black Truffle Gnocchi, and Scottish Salmon.
Their famous dessert is the "melt in your mouth" Butter Cake with Whipped Cream, served warm with fresh fruit.
The ambiance and atmosphere here makes this most unusual restaurant an excellent choice for a romantic dinner or special occasion.
Mastro's Ocean Club is located at 3720 Las Vegas Boulevard South (inside the Cyrstals at City Center mall). Open daily for dinner only. Price range listed as $50 and over by OpenTable and Yelp. Reservations can be made
online .
