1. Family is important.
No matter what happens in life, you'll always have your family. And they should always be the #1 priority in your life.
2. You should never take things for granted.
In the blink of an eye, your entire world could change. Appreciate what you have today because it may be gone tomorrow. Also, be sure to always remind your family and friends how much they mean to you because there could come a day when you're unable to.
3. Always be true to yourself.
No matter what other people think of you, you should always be yourself. You were made the way you are for a reason.
4. Money isn't everything.
Some of the happiest people in the world don't have a dollar to their name, and some of the richest people are also the most miserable. You've got to be happy with that you have.
5. A little kindness goes a long way.
One act of kindness can change someone's entire day. Plus, they may be fighting a battle you know nothing about. Always be kind to one another.
6. The natural beauty that surrounds us should always be appreciated.
To preserve the natural beauty of Nevada, it's up to us to take care of it. If we don't, future generations won't get to enjoy the beautiful surroundings that we currently enjoy today.
7. You should always express gratitude.
There is always something to be thankful for. ALWAYS!!!
8. Never give up.
When times get tough, you should never give up. Also, don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something. If they do, let that be your motivation to succeed at whatever you're trying to accomplish.
9. Things aren't always as they seem.
You should never be jealous of someone because they drive an expensive car, live in a sprawling mansion or travel to exotic locations. More than likely, they can't afford everything they have, and they only care about impressing others. Because of this, they're in huge financial debt. You may also know someone who doesn't look like they have a dollar to their name, but their bank account proves otherwise. Don't be so quick to believe everything you see.
10. Always remember that the best is yet to come.
When times get tough, and they will, always remember that tomorrow is a brand new day.
