Horror Movies Come Alive At This Terrifying Nevada Museum

If you’re like me, you can’t get enough horror movies. As this is my favorite genre of film (well, that and the tear-jerker), when I discovered this incredible Boulder City museum—that just opened July 1st—I was excited. Tom Devlin is an incredible professional makeup effects artist who, for the past 18 years, has worked on innumerable films and television shows creating the creepy monsters most of us have grown to know and love. He appeared on season one of SyFy’s Face/Off, and became a fan favorite with his imaginative work. Take a look at how Devlin makes horror movies come alive at his awesome and terrifying museum:

During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.

In addition to his ongoing work in film, Devlin runs his own makeup effects company called 1313FX, teaches at L Makeup Institute in Las Vegas, designs animatronic zombie props and Halloween masks, and now runs his incredible museum and costume shop. Such a busy guy, indeed. He also has plans for monthly events at the museum and celebrity appearances and autograph signings.

Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., and tickets are just $13 per person.
