8 Fireworks Displays In Nevada That Put All Others To Shame
One of the very best things about summer is going all out when it comes to celebrating the 4th of July. With this lovely holiday just around the corner, you might be thinking about what you’re going to do to celebrate. Luckily for us, Nevada is home to some truly amazing fireworks displays that are sure to blow you away. The difficult part is choosing which one to attend! Check out this list of 8 of the very best fireworks shows and where you can find them.
1. Red, White, & Tahoe Blue - Incline Village
Lake Tahoe's most exciting Independence Day festival will take place starting on June 30th and go through July 4th. A special 10th anniversary show is planned for the fireworks display which is provided by Pyro Spectacular. The Marine Band of San Diego is scheduled to perform during the fireworks.
2. Fourth of July on the Comstock - Virginia City
Celebrate America's birthday in one of the most historic cities in Nevada. Virginia City's 4th of July celebration is sure to be one for the books. The day will start off with a parade, followed by live music and entertainment in various places around town. You'll end the day by watching fireworks being blasted from behind the historic Silverland Hotel.
3. Star Spangled Sparks - Sparks
Every year, the Nugget Casino Resort hosts the area's largest and most spectacular Independence Day party. Fireworks will be set off from the roof of the Nugget, making for a display that you won't easily forget. The event is free to the public and will feature live entertainment, food, and craft booths. Festivities will begin at 4:00 pm and the fireworks show will start at approximately 9:30 pm.
4. Caesars Palace Fireworks - Las Vegas
This list wouldn't be complete without one of the most stellar fireworks displays in the country which takes place every year at Caesars Palace. This year, Las Vegas is celebrating the 4th of July early. The fireworks show at Caesars Palace will actually take place on Saturday, June 30th. However, there are several fireworks displays around the Strip which take place on the 4th at places such as Mandalay Bay and the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino.
5. Fourth of July Celebration 2018 - Carson City
Carson City will be hosting its 26th annual 4th of July Celebration this year. The celebration and carnival will take place starting on June 30th and go through July 4th. The event will feature carnival rides, live music, great food, games, and much more. The fireworks show will take place on the 4th at approximately 9:30 pm with musical accompaniment. All day carnival wristbands are available for $30.
6. Liberty Festival - Pahrump
This all-day festival will take place on July 4th in Pahrump's Petrack Park. The festival will contain music, food, and vendors and will be topped off with one of the longest fireworks displays in Southern Nevada. The fireworks will begin at approximately 9:15 pm. Bring a blanket and a lawn chair and prepare for one of Nevada's most spectacular events!
7. 4th of July Fireworks Express - Ely
If you're looking for the best spot in Nevada to view fireworks, you'll find it right here. The Fireworks Express is scheduled to depart from the Nevada Northern Railway Complex and will take you through panoramic vistas before stopping to view the fireworks show. You can either watch from the train or step out and find the perfect spot to lay out a blanket.
8. Rockets Over The River - Laughlin
These fireworks are so nice, you can view them twice! Laughlin's annual Rockets Over The River fireworks display will take place on both June 30th and July 4th. You'll be able to spot this glorious show along the Laughlin River Walk. Watch as the colorful fireworks light up the dark sky and reflect in the waters of the Colorado River. This event is free to the public and will begin around 9:00 pm each night.
