2. Alien Research Center - 100 Extraterrestrial Highway, Hiko, NV 89017
The Alien Research Center is one of the coolest places on the road, especially for the UFO-enthusiasts in us all. Not only are there tons of books and information regarding UFOs, plus souvenirs to savor the experience with, but there are photo opportunities galore.
It’s only fitting to travel through Rachel, Nevada which is known as the UFO Capital of the World. Many a’stories can be found while exploring Rachel, as this uniquely small town has a population of 98 humans and ?? aliens.
4. Little A’Le’Inn - HC 61 Box 45, Rachel, NV 89001
About 20 miles from the famed Area 51 site is one of the neatest out-of-this-world experiences in Nevada. A tiny place with lots to see, make sure you snap some photos of the outside, then wander inside for a bite to eat and to tack a dollar to the ceiling. It’s a local spot that if you’re lucky, might just provide you with local lore.
As you travel along your road trip you’ll realize there are plenty of places to stop at and enjoy along the Extraterrestrial Highway. Not only does Nevada look like you’re on the surface of the moon in some locations, but it also has tons of natural beauty and unique opportunities to pull over and just take a breath.
6. International Car Forest - The International Car Forest, Goldfield, NV 89013
While it may not be a UFO-centric place in Nevada, the International Car Forest is one of the most creative spaces that seemingly is an extraterrestrial sight. Filled with cars and buses all painted and colorfully crafted, this is an outer-worldly experience worth diving headfirst into.
7. Area 51 Alien Center - 2711 US-95, Amargosa Valley, NV 89020
I’m sure all that UFO exploration made you hungry, which is why sitting down to a meal at the Area 51 Alien Center is the perfect way to end the day. Sit down in the diner and feast on some delicious eats, all while enjoying the merchandise and memorabilia around you.
