There’s Nothing Better Than This Epic Festival In Nevada

One of Nevada’s Top-20 events and marketed as “the biggest rockabilly party in the world,” Viva Las Vegas is an epic four-day festival held at the Orleans Hotel with rockabilly music events, the Tiki Pool Party, the Guitar Geek Festival show, bowling competition, beauty academy, pin-up contest, jive and bopping classes and dance competition, the Viva Las Vegas Car Show, swimsuit contests, tattoo artists, burlesque classes and shows, food, and hundreds of vendors.

The Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend is held at the Orleans Hotel, located at 4500 W. Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas.

2017 marks Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend's 20th year.

The Viva Las Vegas Car Show is among the best in the country. All entries must be pre-1963 and "styled" to fit the era. Generally, there are over 800 cars and over 20,000 visitors. For information about registering your car, check out VLV's website.

Jive and bopping classes are held in preparation for the All Night Jumpin' Showcase.

What could be more fun than a bowling competition while donned in vintage clothing and accessories?

In addition to Burlesque shows, Burlesque classes are available and tremendous fun.

The pin-up contest is a crowd favorite. The contest's objective is to find a pin-up for the modern world. The perfect pin-up should be able to carry herself in a crowd and shine within it. Positivity, professionalism, compassion, and kindness are also important, as the perfect pin-up has both external and inner beauty.

Some of the industry's best tattoo artists set up shop at the festival, and tattoo contests abound.

The Tiki Pool Party is a three-day fun-in-the-sun extravaganza.

The vintage swimsuit competition allows women (and men) the opportunity to show off their vintage swimsuits.

Some of the best bands and artists from across the U.S. perform during Viva Las Vegas. Superstars like Jerry Lee Lewis and Dion have performed at past events. If you are a rockabilly music enthusiast, this is definitely the place for you.
