Located in Alamo, NV, these 25 rustic log cabins each have their own unique décor theme based on the “Old West.” The cabins range in size from a cozy couples’ getaway to the perfect size for a family adventure. Each cabin has a private porch which is ideal for nighttime star gazing. The area is about 100 miles north of Las Vegas, Nevada.
3. Private Estate Cottage
Not quite a cabin, this cottage is still cozy and picturesque. It's situated on a private estate within a gated community. The cottage is set with all the usual amenities, as well as a private eight-person hot tub and landscaping including two ponds and waterfalls. The cottage has access to the Truckee River (Reno, Nevada).

Three cabins are available and are located by the Ruby Lake National Wildlife Refuge. A guide service is available for fishing, hiking, horseback riding and other tours. It’s also a great place to see some of Nevada’s wild mustang herds.
