The One-of-A-Kind Nevada Chocolate Festival Is The Sweetest Thing You’ll Ever Do
Chocolate is pretty much the most universally beloved food item known to man, right? Cheap chocolate, expensive chocolate—all of it’s good! If you consider yourself a chocolate fiend, you’ll be delighted to know about this one-of-a-kind chocolate festival that takes place in Nevada every year. Oh, but this isn’t just any chocolate festival. It’s a chocolate AND wine festival. How amazing is that? There truly isn’t a better combination so start making some plans to attend this year’s festival!
The Tahoe Chocolate & Wine Festival has been taking place in Incline Village for the last 30 years. This year the festival will take place on November 2nd and you really don't want to miss it.
Of course, the festival is a big celebration of all types of locally made chocolate and wine. Guests will be able to help themselves to scrumptious chocolate creations, boutique wine tastings, and some truly delicious appetizers as well.
However, there's a deeper meaning to this festival than just chocolate and wine. The festival is a benefit for the Tahoe SAFE Alliance, a community-based nonprofit organization that was established in 1985. The organization provides support, advocacy, and prevention services to survivors of intimate partner/domestic violence, child abuse, and other noble causes.
The organization has an overall mission of ending violence and abuse in the Tahoe community. Eating delicious chocolate and consuming amazing wine is a great thing in itself, but it also means supporting a good cause!
At the festival, you'll enjoy handcrafted chocolates by culinary artists in the Tahoe area. You can also participate in the annual silent auction and live auction which offer up tantalizing prizes.
