One of the best features of the campground is the fact that Lamoille Creek runs right through it. This makes it an ideal location for fishermen since rainbow and brook trout are abundant in the creek.
The campground provides easy access to three scenic loop trails and you'll want to explore them all. Thomas Canyon Trail is one of the most popular hikes, taking you past several waterfalls and ultimately leading you to an alpine lake.
Lamoille Canyon is easily one of Nevada's greatest wonders. The region is brimming with jagged peaks, lush meadows, abundant wildlife, rushing streams, and sparkling lakes.
