This Treehouse Inn In Nebraska May Just Be Your New Favorite Destination
There’s something magical about treehouses, no matter how old you are. If you’ve outgrown that one in the backyard, you can still experience an enchanting time in this version made especially for grownups in South Sioux City.
Welcome to Kottage Knechtion in South Sioux City, Nebraska! This neat little treehouse B&B is located on five acres of beautifully serene land.
The treehouse sits 18 feet in the air, nestled between two mighty cottonwood trees. As you climb the steps, you'll appreciate the little touches like this built-in wooden bench.
As soon as you open the door you'll know that you're in for a special stay. The interior is as cozy as can be, with a rustic flair and tons of personality.
A fireplace and half-bath are included - along with plenty of other delightful features - but you won't find a TV or wifi. This is designed to be a place where you can disconnect from the world for a while.
When you're done exploring the interior, be sure to step outside to take in the gorgeous views from one of the many outdoor seating areas. The sunrises and sunsets from up here are particularly wonderful.
In the morning, you'll wander over to The Koffie Knechtion for a delicious, homemade breakfast. It's located just steps from the treehouse and always offers an array of fantastic treats.
Choose from selections like biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, cinnamon rolls, scones, and pillowy little pastries known as "heavens." A variety of coffee drinks are available, too.
Once you're full and happy, take a stroll around the pristinely landscaped grounds. It's a serene spot that will make you feel like everything is ok with the world again.
If you'd like to visit but aren't ready to book an overnight stay just yet, you can visit the coffee shop anytime it's open. Once a month during the warmer months you can even catch a live music performance in the lovely outdoor space.
