The Branched Oak Observatory is located about 25 minutes north-west of Lincoln, Nebraska and just south-east of the Branched Oak Recreation Area. It’s a unique star park and observatory where the night sky comes to life.

Though the observatory is still in its infancy, it is open to the general public and offers "star parties" to anyone interested in learning more about the sky. Visitors can glimpse planets, nebulae, star dusters, and galaxies at the observatories.

The observatory has two daytime public viewing opportunities every weekend on Saturday and Sunday, as well as evening viewings on Friday and Saturday. This means that you don’t have to stay up late to check out this awesome spot.
