Standing on the banks of Lake Minatare is a stone lighthouse and pavilion. Although this lighthouse has never been functional, it has been enjoyed by many Nebraskans over the past seven decades.

Visitors can climb up the winding stone staircase to the top of the lighthouse. Be careful on your way up; the stairwell is dark and the steps are a bit steep.
