This Giant Inflatable Water Park In Nebraska Proves There’s Still A Kid In All Of Us

Editor’s note: Although this park was affected by the Spring 2019 floods, almost all of the features are now reopened. The 2019 opening date of the inflatable water park below was delayed due to the floods and cleanup efforts but is expected to return in July.

To say that we Nebraskans look forward to summer is a vast understatement. While we love all seasons here in the Cornhusker State, we tend to really grab summer by the horns and squeeze every last bit of excitement out of it. In 2018, a brand new attraction opened that allows visitors to bounce, splash, climb and slide around between the lake and the sun, and it’s one of those places you’ve just got to visit this summer.

Address: 15810 NE-50, Louisville, NE 68037. A parks permit is required to enter; if you don’t have one, you can purchase a daily or yearly pass at the park. Floating playground 90-minute sessions start at noon, 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. daily through August 12. After that, it will be available on weekends only. Tickets for the playground can be purchased starting 30 minutes before each session and must be purchased in person. For more information about the park, including updates on which parts of the park are currently open, visit Nebraska Game and Parks.
