Spend The Night At Nebraska’s Most Haunted Campground For A Truly Terrifying Experience
This Halloween season, wouldn’t it be fun to get out and do something different? Camp Fear in Elkhorn is a terrifyingly fun attraction that provides a wicked experience unlike anything else.
You may be familiar with Riverwest Park, right on the Elkhorn River at 233rd & West Maple Rd, as an idyllic green space with great camping in the summer.
But is also becomes Camp Fear, one of the Omaha area's newest Halloween attractions. There are five separate haunts on the grounds: the Terrot Teepee ("terrot" being a mashup of "terror" and "tarot"), Dark Ritual Escape (an intense five-minute escape room), Z Bunker (a crazy zombie-hunting adventure), Nightmare Theater (showing outdoor horror movies), and Bloodrush: Forest of Terror (Omaha's longest and scariest haunted attraction).
Bloodrush is a unique experience that takes place in an actual forest. It takes approximately 20-30 minutes to go through, which is a far cry from the 5-10 minutes that most haunted attractions provide. It's full of crazy surprises that we won't spoil for you...just be prepared for the scariest frights of the season.
After dark, the Nightmare Theater area combines with the Forest of Terror to become Fright Overnight, a one-of-a-kind haunted camping experience. The things that go "bump" in the night may actually crawl out of the forest or up from the riverbanks to give you a truly terrifying experience.
If you make it through to morning, you'll feel like an accomplished Fright Overnight survivor. You may even find yourself looking forward to your next stay!
