It’s a small town in Dawson County with a population of under 1,000 people as of 2021; it’s a town most folks pass right on by thanks to its small size and proximity to the highway that runs almost right through it. As with anywhere, it’s got its fair share of gas stations and fill-up spots, but this gas station and fill-up spot is hiding a delicious secret: This is one gas station restaurant in Nebraska with absolutely incredible Indian food served at a “secret” restaurant that the locals are wild for. It’s called Taste of India, and it’s one of the best places to get Indian food in Nebraska, hands down!

But don't worry - as soon as you go in, you'll be greeted by the intensely flavorful aroma of fresh-cooking Indian cuisine that's surely to die for.

Every single dish is incredibly good, cooked the old-world way and without any modern fillers or artificial ingredients. It's as brilliantly colorful as it is incredibly flavorful.

Personally, I feel like that's a good thing. Fewer crowds mean more peace and quiet... but I wouldn't be surprised to see this place blow up in popularity at some point.
