The Mahoney State Park activity center winter hours are Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm; Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm; closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. A parks pass is required to enter Eugene T Mahoney State Park, and there is an additional fee of $2 per child and $3 per adult to enter the Activity Center and ice skating rink. Mahoney State Park has 57 cabins in total. There are 49 two-bedroom cabins, three with four bedrooms, and five with six bedrooms. Each of the cabins has heat and air conditioning for a comfortable stay year-round. You'll also enjoy the cozy fireplace in each of the cabins on those chilly days.

Does Mahoney State Park have hiking trails?

There are two short hiking trails in Mahoney State Park. One trail starts out at the Peter Kiewit Lodge and heads to an observation tower. It is a 2.1-mile loop trail which may not be well groomed. The other is a paved 2.3-mile trail around the campground which includes an area for hiking over a boardwalk.
