Everyone In Nebraska Must Visit This Epic Farmers Market At Least Once

Nebraska is an agricultural state, so it stands to reason that we have terrific farmers markets all throughout the state. There’s one market with a rich history dating back to the turn of the 20th century; the Omaha Farmers Market in the Old Market has grown and grown into epic proportions over the years.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/

The market which started a hundred years ago is going stronger than ever, and now it’s a popular weekend destination for Omahans. Visit the market weekly on Saturday mornings from 8 am – 12:30 pm at the corner of 11th and Jackson Streets. Find more information here. Leashed, well behaved dogs are welcome at the market.
