Watch Boats Come In At This Charming Dockside Restaurant In Nebraska

Summer is the perfect time to get outdoors and enjoy all of the beauty that Nebraska has to offer. But you’ve got to come in and eat sometime, so why not have a meal in a place that lets you continue to enjoy the outdoors while you dine?

The Boat House Bar & Grill in Raymond is located right on the banks of Branched Oak Lake in Branched Oak State Recreation Area.

The casual spot is a favorite among boaters, anglers, and everyone else who enjoys spending a day out at this scenic park.

The first thing you'll probably notice when you walk in is the view. The large windows look right out onto the water while they let ample light into the dining room.

The fun nautical decor sets the stage for the delightful experience you're about to have.

The dining room is a great place to dig in, but if the weather's nice enough we'd wholeheartedly recommend sitting outside.

The view from out here is so perfectly summery and relaxing. Watch the water and enjoy the sunshine while you visit with old friends or meet new ones.

Watch the boats coming in to dock as you sip on a drink...

...maybe even a bucket-size cocktail. Invite a friend or two to help, and be sure to have a designated driver lined up - these drinks are strong.

The best is yet to come, though. Peruse the menu and choose your meal from classics like juicy steak...

...inventive burgers...

...loaded nachos...

...and, of course, fish, among plenty of other tasty selections.

Top it all off with a delectable dessert that will satisfy your sweet tooth (and then some).

If you're up and about early on the weekend (and especially if you're camping at Branched Oak), be sure to stop in for breakfast on Saturday or Sunday. Your eggs and hash browns will taste so much better when you can enjoy them with a view.

This waterfront restaurant is all about fun, friends, and delicious food. Show up for karaoke night or drop in when there's a live band playing and get ready for an unforgettable time.
