When it comes to stunning views, it's hard to beat Wyoming. You don't have to travel out west to the parks to find breathtaking scenery, though. Locals know you can find pretty views and fun hiking trails just about anywhere you look in the Cowboy State. Check out the Brimmer Point Trail in Guernsey State Park for sweeping panoramic views that are sure to impress.
Wyoming's Guernsey State Park has long been known as one of the best spots around to catch beautiful views, scenery, and fall foliage.
While there are many trails that wind their way around the reservoir, the Brimmer Point Trail has earned a reputation for showing off the best views in the park.
The loop trail to the top of Brimmer Point and back is just about one mile from the trailhead, so it's the type of hike you can squeeze in on nearly any day.
From way up here, you can see almost all of Guernsey State Park! The views are unparalleled and show off the reservoir like no other spot in the park can.
When you get to the summit, you'll notice the remnants of Civilian Conservation Corp. structures. History buffs will love seeing these relics in person!

You can find a trail map and more information from AllTrails here.
While you're in the area, make time to Step Back In Time And You Walk Through Wyoming's Historic Guernsey Ruts. They're located just south of the park and are remnants of the Oregon Trail.
