Falls Ridge Preserve is a relatively small preserve that's easily accessible from Blacksburg, Virginia. From the parking area, follow signs for Bradley Trail and prepare to be enchanted.
This easy, 1-mile loop trail will take hikers past an array of breathtaking attractions, ranging from waterfalls to caves and, depending on the season, an abundance of wildflowers.
The caves are fascinating to admire and are one of the many reasons this trail is such a unique gem.
The spring-fed travertine is another notable attraction. Because of the calcium-rich deposits, the water can appear to be a breathtaking shade of blue.
Since the trail is only 1 mile in length, you'll have plenty of time to admire the scenery around you. Who knows...you might even spot some wildlife along the way!
