The aptly-named Falling Spring Falls has been a beloved natural attraction in Virginia. In fact, it is said that Thomas Jefferson himself was a big fan of these cascades.
Measuring 80 feet in length, this falls is indeed one of the most impressive in the state.
Plus, the sound of the falls cascading from such a great height is nothing short of mesmerizing.
It's important to note that visitors can no longer take the short trail down to the base of the falls. Fortunately, there is a renovated overlook and picnic area right off the road.
