2. Croshaw’s Gourmet Pies, St. George

Huge gourmet pies at great prices. 175 W. 900 S., St. George.

3. The Dodo Restaurant

Famous for their Tollhouse Pie. 1355 E. 2100 S., Salt Lake City.

4. Fillings and Emulsions, Salt Lake City

These aren’t just pies - they’re works of art. 25 East Kensington Ave., Salt Lake City.

5. June Pie, Heber

The pot pies look as tasty as the desserts! Open from 4-6 pm, Tuesday through Friday. 133 N. Main Street, Heber.

6. Lehi Bakery, Lehi

Home of the square donut!

7. Lion House Pantry, Salt Lake City

Lion House has long been famous for its rolls and pies. 63 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City.

8. Magleby’s Restaurant, Springville

The chocolate cake at Magleby’s is amazing...but the pies are excellent too. Maybe get both? 198 S. Main, Springville.

9. Penny Ann’s Cafe, SLC

Penny Ann’s won Best of State for its breakfast this year, but its pies are also to die for. 1810 S. Main, Salt Lake City.

10. Provo Bakery, Provo

Go for the pies, but pick up some glazed doughnuts while you’re there. 190 E. 100 N., Provo

11. Sunglow Cafe, Bicknell

Yelp! reviewers rave about the pies in this little cafe in Bicknell. 92 E. Main, Bicknell.

12. Thunderbird Restaurant, Mt. Carmel

"Ho-made" pie. The sign for this restaurant is priceless. It started when the owner tried to squeeze the whole name onto his sign by shortening the word "home." At the time, it didn’t have the same sexy connotation. Regardless, the pie is delicious. Try the apple pie with rum sauce. US-89, Mt. Carmel.

13. Veyo Pies

While this list is alphabetical and NOT a ranking, if it was, Veyo Pies would get the award for the Best Pie in the Entire State of Utah. It’s a tiny little shop, in an even tinier little town (Veyo has less than 500 residents). The pies are all completely hand-made, and so good that people drive from all over the state to get them. During holiday season, the shop sells around 100 pies per day. Banana Creme is the favorite.
