The food truck craze exploded onto the scene a couple of years ago, fanned by rabidly hungry millennials everywhere. You probably have a favorite food truck yourself, one that stops by the office building or that you track down somewhere in the city on a lazy Thursday afternoon. If you're in Memphis, though? You're in luck. There's a food truck park that you can frequent every day of the work week (just not weekends!), where you're bound to find something delicious to fill your belly. Have you been?
The Memphis Food Truck Park is one of the quirkiest and most unique places to grab a bite to eat during the week. Located on the property of an old gas station, food trucks gather during lunchtime to feed the hungry masses.
You can grab your favorite comfort food and hang out underneath the gas station awning for shade. This is a great place to bring your co-workers, since you'll have the chance to snag something different for every palate.
There are twenty picnic tables that you can sit at during open hours. Great for groups, great for big families! There are bathrooms on-site and free wifi - killer.
Thirteen food trucks can be hosted at a time, ps. Don't these ribs look insane?!
A food truck park holds its own by the sheer variety of gastronomical delights offered up on a daily basis. No more feeling like you can't make your kids happy, no worries about the picky health food nut at your work - we got you covered.
The food truck line up will change from day to day, but you can check out their Facebook page for their updated scheduling.
You can visit for yourself from 10:30am to 2:00pm Monday through Friday, at 3803 Winchester in Memphis. Happy lunchin'!
Continue the fun with a trip to one of these inexpensive Tennessee vacation spots - they're gold!
