Friends, it's obvious - the snow is finally here. With all this fluffy white stuff coating our beautiful state and with that familiar chill in the air right about now, you might be thinking about dusting off your sled and hitting the hills. We thought we'd provide you with a list of some of the best places to go sledding in Pennsylvania; some are places where you can go tubing, too, while others are simply public and state parks. See if your favorite sledding spot made the list, of maybe find a new one!
1. AvalancheXpress Snow Tubing, York

2. Mellon Park, Point Breeze, Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh is a notoriously hilly city; it is home to Canton Avenue, the steepest hill in the country. We are not suggesting that you sled down Canton Avenue. 3. Shank Park, Hershey

4. Hidden Valley Resort
Hidden Valley is another prime tubing destination in Pennsylvania. This place is epic no matter how old you are! Kids and adults alike really, really love this one, and it's obvious as to why as soon as you arrive. Learn more in this article.
5. Frick Park, Pittsburgh
Frick Park is the largest park in Pittsburgh, and as such is a haven for hikers, walkers, runners, bikers, and pretty much anyone in the city who likes being outside. It offers numerous hills that are ideal for sledding, as well. This park is also wonderful for hiking all year-round.
6. Boulder Ridge Snow Tubing at Liberty Mountain Resort, Fairfield
Boulder Ridge Snow Tubing has 15 tubing lanes and even has an area made specially for children ages 2-4. It definitely sounds worth a trip. Read more on the official website.
