3. Ringing Rocks County Park

Ringing Rocks Park is home to one of the most interesting phenomenons in the state of Pennsylvania - a field of large rocks that ring like bells when you strike them! The park is about an hour and a half from Philadelphia.

4. Susquehanna River

The gorgeous Susquehanna River is the longest river on the East Coast! This powerful body of water flows through central and eastern Pennsylvania, bringing plenty of scenes like the one pictured. Take a day trip to paddle or tube down the river and enjoy the wildlife and quaint river towns you'll see on the way.

5. Glen Onoko Falls

Glen Onoko Falls in Jim Thorpe is only recommended for experienced hikers, as the trail can be a little treacherous. If you're surefooted and brave enough, you'll be rewarded with some of the best views in Pennsylvania.

6. Bushkill Falls

Bushkill Falls is two hours from Center City, but it is worth every minute of that drive. Walk on the boardwalks or trails to the breathtaking falls that anyone will enjoy.

7. Delaware Water Gap

The Delaware Water Gap is about two hours from Center City, and again, it is worth the drive. Camp in the KOA nearby and hike Mount Minsi and Mount Tammany for the best views of this natural phenomenon that began to cut through the Appalachian Mountains over 500 million years ago!
