With winter right around the corner in Oregon, it's time to start pulling our warm clothes out of storage and start planning some cold weather activities. One great spot to check out this year is Southern Oregon's Table Mountain Winter Play Area. This park is the perfect place for you and your loved ones to while away a wintry afternoon. Check it out:
Table Mountain Winter Play Area is located next to Hyatt Lake Resort, just 20 miles outside of Ashland in Southern Oregon.
This delightful area offers plenty of snow-filled fun for the whole family.
You won't want to miss taking a thrilling ride down the snow hill. This moderately sloped hill is designed specifically for snow tubing and sledding.
The best news of all? It's free! Just make sure to bring your own sled or snow tube along.
You can also access snowmobile, snowshoe, and cross-country ski trails from the park.
After playing in the snow, you can defrost in the warming shelter. Keep in mind that you'll have to bring your own wood to start a fire in the stove. A restroom is also located here.
If you're hungry, you can roast up some marshmallows on one of the outdoor fire pits.
So what are you waiting for? Button up your coat and head to Table Mountain for some outdoor fun this winter.
