Oklahoma is home to many great festivals and fairs throughout the year and one you'll want to add to your list to attend is the Medieval Fair of Norman. This annual event is one of the state's largest weekend events and one of the only free medieval living history events left in the nation. The Medieval Fair of Norman has been held annually since 1977 and the 2019 dates are April 5th-7th from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
It takes place at Reaves Park at 2501 Jenkins Avenue in Norman. The fair is free to attend and is not only a fun event but an educational adventure too. As the third largest event in the state, there is a full line up of events and activities to keep you busy all day long.
Step back in time and enjoy educational exhibits, vendors, arts, crafts, food, games, demonstrations, and continuous entertainment on seven different stages.
The live entertainment is so thrilling and great for the whole family. All the actors are dressed in costume and will keep you entertained for hours.
Over 200 artisan booths are set up and offer visitors a variety of shopping options. You'll find everything from jewelry to fine art to kilts.
Plus, there are over 400 food vendors serving some of the most delicious treats.
