The trail includes a creek crossing. You might want to wear hiking shoes that are waterproof or that you don't mind getting wet.

You'll also come across numerous caves dotted along the trail, including Devil's Icebox. Unfortunately, the cave is currently closed to visitors to protect its bat population.

Don't forget your camera, because you'll have a ton of beautiful scenery to capture.

After you've completed the trail, consider exploring more of Rock Bridge Memorial State Park. Horseback riding and biking are also popular activities at the park.
