Outdoor dining is no longer limited to the warmer months – at least not at Lock 50. Thanks to the addition of igloos, the Worcester eatery offers one of the state's coziest dining experiences, even when the weather outside is frightful. Take a look:
Located in Worcester’s Canal District, Lock 50 is one restaurant that belongs on your radar.
Aside from a mouthwatering menu, the eatery is known for having one of the best patios in the area.
And in recent years, the already amazing patio has gotten even better thanks to the addition of igloos.
A solution to frigid temperatures, the igloos adorn the eatery’s patio in the fall and winter.
Nice and toasty, the igloos feature a cold-resistant cover and are equipped with space heaters, providing the perfect setting for you to indulge on everything from quick bites to hearty dishes.
Locally sourced, each and every item on the menu is as tasty as the next.
In addition to freshness and quality, the eatery’s delectable offering includes some not-so-common items, such as Octopus Croquettes.
Nearly as impressive as the food selection is the beverage selection, which includes a variety of wines and spirits.
No reservations are needed to dine in one of Lock 50’s igloos - they’re seated on a first come, first served basis, with a two-hour maximum use per party.
Want to make sure an igloo is available? Lock 50 has a rental program. For $50 per hour and a $50 deposit, they’ll hold an igloo for you, which you can use for up to two hours.
