Just about any view in Maine is perfection, but we especially love the ones that involve the water! This restaurant has a little bit of everything. From an interesting history to its location along the Saco River, it's a natural choice for folks who want to enjoy the best of Maine.
What do you get when you cross a beautiful river with a plate full of delicious food? Easy! Run of the Mill in Saco!
It's hard to categorize this place by calling it just a pub or a restaurant. It's also brewery, a live music venue and a place to meet up with friends and family while taking in some sweet Maine views.
Located on Factory Island in the Saco River, the building it's in was once part of a network of...you guessed it! Factories.
Today the restaurant has a huge outdoor seating area allowing for some of the best water views you can get without being at the beach.
In addition to a unique historic location, the menu here is large and in charge. Order their giant lobster roll for a belly busting good time.
Or load up on their pulled pork.
If you appreciate all things Great Britain, you might want to check out their bangers and mash. Some say they're the best they've ever tried.
Be sure to leave room for dessert.
And, perhaps more importantly, leave room to taste on of the 23 varieties of beer they create using their 14 barrels system.
If you're lucky enough to catch some live music, be sure to take some extra time to relax and groove while taking in the scenery. You won't find anything else like this in the state!
