Are you ready to explore a place that is truly like a living fairy tale? We think you are going to love this beautiful New Orleans park that is something special. It's like exploring a whole new world, especially for the little ones.
Storyland in City Park is found next to Carousel Gardens and the Botanical Gardens. It's a little hidden but you can't miss these two at the entrance.
It's a magical spot that will make you feel like you are exploring a wonderland.
Representations of almost every fairy tale are found here ready for your little ones to explore.
You can help them bring the stories of their books alive by showing them the life size depictions of their favorite characters.
In the old days, Storyland was also known as the "singing playground".
At each of the statues, a small box was installed. The characters would sing songs and tell stories through the box.
Storyland is still amazing without those boxes, but I am still hoping they will come back some day.
Until then, parents have to provide the songs as their kids explore the stories. You'll want to sing the songs when you see all of the characters.
Some of the best attractions include this dragon, the little old woman in the shoe, and the little mermaid.
We know that your little one is going to find something that captures their imagination. I know when I was a kid the whale was one of my favorite things to play with.
So plan your next visit to Storyland in City Park.
We think you are going to fall in love with this beautiful park and create some awesome memories with your little ones.
