What's your favorite Halloween tradition? If you're a fan of all things spooky and sinister, you've probably experienced Indiana's most well-known October activity, Indy Scream Park. And although the event looks slightly different this year with some health and safety regulations put in place, our state's scariest haunted house is once again open for business... and there's even a brand new attraction this year.
Indy Scream Park is the scariest haunted house attraction in the Indianapolis metro area.
It was founded in 2010, meaning they've been terrifying and entertaining Hoosiers for a full decade.
Indy Scream Park is located at the White River Paintball facility just off of I-69 in Anderson.
And this year, they've opened a brand new attraction, Zombie Paintball Assault.
Every October, a talented team puts on an incredible experience that haunts our nightmares in the best way.
There's something thrilling about this experience, even though it's definitely scary.
The "Monster Midway” area gives visitors a huge outdoor space to enjoy games, three huge fire pits, and concessions.
It's also packed with creepy characters.
Other attractions include Killgore’s 3D Circus, the Backwoods experience, the interactive Mutation attractions, and the terrifying Nightmare Factory.
Nightmare Factory: Blackout mimics a power factory that mysteriously went black. Each themed attraction tells a different tale, and each one is terrifying in a completely unique way.
Obviously, this attraction is mainly geared toward adults, teens, and older children who are not easily spooked.
Bring the family at your own risk.
Indy Scream Park regularly wins both local awards and national recognition.
We're happy it's back in business this year.
Have you ever dared to attend Indy Scream Park? Considering it has been called the most terrifying haunted house in Indiana and even won the title of America's Best Haunted House in 2019, it's definitely worth checking out if you dare.
