The Grafton Winery Blues Festival is an annual event that takes place each spring in southern Illinois along the Mississippi River. It combines great music with comfort food and the best wine in the state.
This year's event is scheduled for May 18-19, 2019. It is completely free to attend though food and drinks will cost you. It doesn't really cost anything to listen to music and enjoy the views.
Live entertainment that is scheduled to perform includes the Joe Metzka Band, the Ivas John Band, the NGK Band, and Billy Peak. These local acts are all out of St. Louis and guarantee a good show.
While you're here, you'll get to enjoy samples of award-winning wine and beer brewed by Grafton Winery and Brewhaus. It operates four acres of nearby vineyards, which overlook a gorgeous lake and offer yet another fabulous spot to enjoy yourself.
When it comes to food, the famous St. Louisiana Q food truck will be on-site selling its delicious BBQ. Nothing goes better with blues music than smoked meats.
The event will last between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday, and blues tunes are guaranteed to be blasting the entirety of both days.
Grafton Winery and Brewhaus is an excellent place to dine, enjoy a wine tasting or tour, or host an event. Rooftop seating with immaculate views, top-notch wines made from Chardonnel, Vidal, and Vignoles grapes, as well as additional exciting events that take place throughout the year make this a one-of-a-kind spot that you'll want to keep on your radar.
The Grafton Winery Blues Festival will take place at 300 W Main St., Grafton, IL 62037, and you can learn more about it on the winery's website or Facebook page.
