The trail is well-maintained and mostly flat, making it a great outing for families with small kiddos. Although the trail is less than two miles long, you could easily spend hours leisurely strolling along the trail and taking in the sights. The group actively works to expand access for the trail since it currently ends where private property begins. They also work to keep the trail nice and clean by providing bear-proof trash containers, dog clean-up stations, and regular trash patrols. Overall, the trail is an amazing example of what can occur when the community comes together.
