Wood Acres Farm is located in Terryville, Connecticut. They offer enchanting winter sleigh rides through 25 acres of wooded trails. It’s the ideal setting to enjoy this old-fashioned, fun activity with family, friends, or that someone special.
The farm’s magnificent draft horses will pull your sleigh over the hills and through the woods on a 45-minute ride through the countryside. You’ll be able to sit back and enjoy nature as you glide over the powdery snow and snuggle up to loved ones. Sicne the sleigh is open to the air, guests are encouraged to bundle up and stay toasty under blankets.
The farm offers three types of rides: Victorian ($175), group ($275), and large group rides ($300 per hour). The Victorian ride is perfect for couples or small families and is totally private. Group rides are ideal for families, as they include complimentary hot chocolate and access to a warm and cozy space in the Banquet Barn.
