What are folks here in Colorado most passionate about? Well, I'd definitely say craft beer, biking, and hitting the slopes would be on the top of that list. At Homegrown Tap & Dough, locals feel right at home surrounded in an ambiance that embraces these true loves of Colorado, all while serving up a menu dedicated to sourcing fresh, local ingredients. For a true taste of the Colorado culture, pull up a chair (or, should I say, pull up a ski lift chair) at this authentically local restaurant and bar.
Homegrown Tap & Dough has two locations in Denver. One in the historic South Gaylord neighborhood of Wash Park and the other in the heart of beautiful Olde Town Arvada.
Each offers a spacious patio to enjoy the gorgeous Colorado weather.
The decor at Homegrown gives you the feeling that you are actually in the mountains with authentic ski lifts used for seating and antler chandeliers hanging overhead.
You can even catch up with friends as you congregate in an actual gondola that is situated perfectly in the Arvada location.
Unique details can be found everywhere you look. Including this chandelier constructed from bike chains.
Not only does Homegrown "talk the talk" when it comes to Colorado, but they "walk the walk" with an expansive variety of local food and drinks that comes directly from our lovely state.
This includes a wide selection of rare craft beers on tap and a few favorite domestic taps as well.
Homegrown's specialty is incorporating flavors that put a local twist on traditional Italian foods.
You'll want ot try one of their hand tossed wood-fired pizzas like the Rustic Ranger which is topped with BBQ sauce, mozzarella cheese, chicken, bacon, caramelized onions, and (you can't get much more Colorado than this) green chili.
They also dish out house-made specialty pasta that will fuel you for your next local adventure.
You may want to order the Clear Creek Pasta which features zucchini, capers, garlic, basil, shaved Parmesan, and your choice of grilled chicken or salmon.
Homegrown also whips up mouth-watering gourmet hamburgers.
To create such a fresh taste, they use natural, never frozen beef patties, high quality produce and buns that are made daily by a local bakery.
Their vintage arcade rooms come complete with historic local photos and add another layer of fun to this truly Coloradan experience.
The Olde Town Arvada location of Homegrown Tap & Dough can be found at 5601 Olde Wadsworth Blvd in Arvada, CO 80002. You can find the Wash Park location at 1001 S. Gaylord St. in Denver, CO 80209. Both locations are open daily from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.
