What was up with the warm weather last weekend? Sure; we prefer sunshine over snow, but come on... it's supposed to be fall time in Colorado! If you are like me and are craving a little more autumn in your life, make plans to visit one of these 10 charming Colorado pumpkin patches that are picture perfect for a fall day:
1. Moon Farm (Fruita)
When it comes to fall fun, the Western Slope knows where to go. They head to Moon Farm's pumpkin patch, corn maze, and petting zoo!
2. Diana's Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze (Canon City)
Whether you are looking for big, small, or somewhere in between, this family owned and operated farm is sure to have the perfect pumpkin for you.
3. The Bartels Farm (Fort Collins)
Talk about a farm you can trust; this Colorado institution was established in 1905 and has been passed down from generation to generation. In addition to growing large pumpkins, the Bartels also grow and sell melons, sweet corn, and a variety of other fresh produce.
4. Colorado Pumpkin Patch (Larkspur)
If you thought the Colorado Renaissance Festival in Larkspur was epic, wait until you visit the Colorado Pumpkin Patch, which offers a number of unique family activities including outdoor laser tag, gourd target practice, and a 60-foot jumping pillow.
5. Pantaleo Farms (Pueblo)
Let's just say there is a reason they call this Pueblo treasure the "Great" Pumpkin Patch...
6. Anderson Farms (Erie)
Since the mid-1990s (when the farm was first opened to the public), Anderson Farm has been a northeast Colorado favorite with its pumpkin launches, corn maze, and memorable hay rides to and from their ample patch.
7. Rock Creek Farm (Broomfield)
What is it that we love the most about Rock Creek Farm? Speaking from personal experience (as some friends and I took our toddlers last year), it's the FREE admission and activities that the farm offers to everyone!
8. Studt's Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze (Grand Junction)
For the second year in a row, we are gushing about our love of Studt's, their large pumpkin patch, and fun corn maze (both haunted and not).
9. Mile High Farms (Bennett)
Don't let its (sometimes) spooky appearance frighten you away; this Bennett farm features family fun for everyone complete with not just a pumpkin patch, but inflatables and petting zoo as well.
10. Venetucci Farm (Colorado Springs)
Located on 190 acres, Venetucci Farm was founded in 1936 and is as famous now as it was back then for giving away thousands of pumpkins each year to Colorado Springs youth.
